Members' Area

I have got lots of ideas about how to expland and improve my website over the coming months. One of the aspects I enjoy most is having the chance to share my enthusiasm and my wildlife with others who are similarly interested. This is an area I would like to develop as much as I can.

One way to do this is through membership. Membership means that I get an idea of how many individuals are following my work and are interested in what I am trying to do. I can let interested members know when new content goes on to my site, and I can keep you up to date on projects and get feedback. Long term, I would like to get joint projects going in gardens across the country... I have lots of ideas and I'm sure you do as well. Membership might be the way to share, communicate and help each other.

I am going to have some pages on my site that are for members only. Initially, I am going to trail a 'chat' facility in the Members' Area. This is a bit like MSN messenger and should give members a chance to chat about what is being seen on the live cams or on my website and ask any questions they have. This has been happening a lot on Twitter recently, where i have been answering questions about the creatures that many are watching on my live cameras.
I have also started 'My Patch' member's pages... a place to shaowcase what you are doing for wildlife in your area. Once signed in, you can complete the application form for a page of your own, if you are interested.

If you would like to be a member, then simply sign up using the link below. The first time you will need to click on 'join up' Once I approve your membership, you will get an email and then you will just need to login using the username and password you selected to access the members' pages. A log in button is available on the homepage, that you can use once you have signed up. Please  if you have any questions.

I look forward to 'meeting' some more like-minded enthusiasts and sharing our passion for the natural world.... and often, the place to start is your own patch!
